The MP's Taunton office has to be relocated to premises that are more secure and spacious accommodation to comply with rules on the security of MPs' offices and staff and therefore premises are being sought in central Taunton to replace the current temporary accommodation his staff are now occupying.  MPs offices may be rented from their local political party or from any other properly incorporated company, organisation or individual whether supporters of the Liberal Democrats, of other political parties or not and we have been looking at a range of properties. All leases are approved by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority and need to include a break clause of two months' written notice in accordance with official guidance.
